SBA staff-led both an in-person and virtual roundtable focused on the CARES Act and resources for local small businesses on June 15. Congressman Steve Chabot, the House Committee on Small Business ranking member, met with small business owner Troy Parker regarding how CARES Act legislation can be adapted to meet the needs of underserved communities moving forward.

Congressman Chabot also provided a brief virtual update on the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act to women-owned businesses and resources in the area, which included representatives from the Economic and Community Development Institute, Women Business Centers of Ohio, Hamilton County Small Business Development Center, and Aviatra Accelerators.
